The Telugu wedding in Hyderabad was at one of the city's grand banquet halls — 800 guests, a stage that was essentially a small theatre set, and a family with very specific ideas about what "grand" looked like. The planner told us upfront: "They have seen everything. Impress them or don't come."
The groom's entry used our aerial cold pyro: four units fired simultaneously from the stage wings, sending golden arcs of sparks twenty feet across the hall and overhead. The crowd reaction was audible from outside the building — a collective sound that was half gasp, half cheer. The groom himself looked genuinely startled, which made it better.
